Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a set of tools and techniques you can use in effective communication, personal growth and psychotherapy; NLP was basically introduced by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the Santa Cruz Mountains in 1970s. NLP training

Richard Bandler was obviously a mathematician and John Grinder was obviously a linguist. Two of them got together to model what folks who are really effective with communication do and experimented with reproduce that model for some. Since then NLP has improved in scope with lots of models, tools and techniques manufactured by various NLP practitioners.

There’s two ways in which we can think about neuro-linguistic programming;

1.    The first method is as a set of modeling tools that can be used to observe, model and reproduce excellence for any field.

2.    The second way is as a set of standard techniques that were archived over the years on account of NLP research such as swish pattern technique and six-step reframe technique.


What's NLP good for?

It’s important and to mention that when we discuss the meaning, there’s a difference between a physical sensation in your body and what you make that physical sensation mean. Everybody is very afraid having certain feelings and may do anything they can in order to avoid it. But here’s something to take into consideration; the actual physical sensation of terror and excitement are similar. They are about the same; the guts rate gets elevated, the blood pressure goes and up sometimes the palms could possibly get a little sweaty. A different way to look at is the physical sensation driving your vehicle off a cliff in your fiery death is certainly going be the same as the dropping feeling if you are going down your favorite rollercoaster!

That means the physical sensations going on in your body are never something to actually be afraid of. Are they all scary is the meaning we make about it. When a person begins to have a panic attack it’s not the truth that blood pressure has gone up slightly or the heart rate adjusted up a little bit, that’s not the situation. The problem is what they tell themselves what this means in their mind or whatever they think this could result in.

So since we can only pay attention to a very little bit of information at a time, an enormous amount of information offered to us at our fingertips are ignored. However since information is more easily accessible than ever before it’s logical to believe that we will find information to guide whatever we want to believe.
